Girl Guides - Skills for Life

Welcome to the website of Baulkham Hills Guides!

Guiding in Baulkham Hills is thriving!

We are a voluntary organisation, and rely on volunteers to help. All our leaders are volunteers who give up their time and expertise to develop girls and young women to reach their full potential.

Baulkham Hills District has been in existence since 1946. Our Units meet at Railway Street, Baulkham Hills.

We have four units in Baulkham Hills District:

Our uniform

The Possums wear a navy scarf with a red stripe (easy to see in a crowd!).

Explorers wear a navy scarf with a white stripe.

Bat-Taculars wear a navy scarf with a purple stripe on the outside and a white stripe on the inside. When an Explorer moves up to Bat-Taculars, she uses her same scarf, but receives the purple stripe when she renews her Promise as a Bat.

SRS Encounter Ranger Guides has green and gold as the Unit colours.
